Reconstructive Surgery
Residents of Canada do not pay for reconstructive surgery to improve function. The Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) will cover the cost of consultation, all investigations, and surgery.Under some circumstances, a specific application must be submitted to the Ministry of Health to determine if a planned operative procedure would be covered. If denied by OHIP, some private medical insurance plans may provide coverage.

Cosmetic surgical procedures are not considered to be insured services and, as such, payment is the responsibility of the patient.Fees quoted from our office include all relevant costs: surgical fee, anesthesia, day surgery facility fee, nursing fee, implants and garments as required, and taxes. The fees for aesthetic surgery will vary depending upon the exact procedure that you undergo.
The consultation fee is $200.00
If you elect to have surgical options reviewed using computer digital imaging, there is an additional fee of $200.00
Ten percent of the cosmetic surgery fee is paid at the time of booking of the surgical date. The balance is due 1 week prior to surgery. HST of 13% is added to the fee.
